This cache is located in Hubbard Park. It is a great place to go for a nature walk, for exercise, or simply to enjoy the peaceful woods. We placed this cache a bit off of the trail to encourage you to explore this pretty area with a beautiful little stream and moss-covered rocks & fallen trees. The caches is near the New Shelter, which is perfect for a picnic or cookout at any time of year.
Please use stealth at this cache, as there are typically lots of people walking on the nearby trails. Replace the cache as found so it isn't visible from the trail. This cache should be accessible in the winter as long as the snow is not more than 2 feet deep!

New Shelter Pavilion
Hubbard Park's New Shelter is a handicap friendly pavilion that is great for the whole family. A composting toilet is located right across the road from the New Shelter. This area has a lawn with enough room for some games or for children to run around. There are picnic tables, a grill and a water fountain located at this shelter.
Reservation & Trash Policy
If using the shelter without a reservation, be sure to check the reservation posts to make sure that there is not a reservation during your time of use. Remember, Hubbard Park has a carry in - carry out policy. Please keep our parks beautiful and take your trash with you!
Park Guidelines and Regulations
- Hours 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., gates may be locked around dark
- Speed limit 15 miles per hour
- Fires must be in designated fireplaces only
- No discharge of weapons, at any time
- Leave only footprints, take only pictures
- Carry out whatever you carry in
- Bikes and vehicles, must stay on roads, except on the designated path in the North Branch Park
- No overnight camping
- Dogs must be under control at all times. If your dog is not under clear voice control then dog owners must use a leash to help protect other park users experience
