Another Month another hide...part of my ongoing personal challenge to place at least one cache per month. A challenge that I started back in 2015 when I challenged myself to place at least one cache per month for a whole year. Well, that challenge didn't seem to stop, so here I am some 6 years later and the streak continues.
Fogarty's Wetland is a little tucked away spot that most people barely take notice of as they speed by on the Outer Ring Road. This little spot is part of the Pippy Park wetlands and is a protected area for a number of plants and animals. There is a little viewing area nearby the cache where, if the season is right, you might catch a duck or other waterfowl so have your camera ready, just in case!
There have been a couple caches placed in this area over the years but none have seemed to last very long. Let's hope this one last's a while.
Cache is a medium container hanging to keep it winter friendly. Lots of room for smaller Travel bugs and some small trinkets.
Please be sure to place it back so that it doesn't get accidentally discovered by muggles.
