This is a BONUS cache to the Oak Harbor Memories Adventure Lab. In order to find and log this Bonus Cache you must first complete the 5 Adventure Lab caches and obtain the clues in the journals from each Lab Cache.
A lot of people have memories of the iconic Kow Korner, in business from the mid-1950s to 2000.
There is absolutely no indication anymore, and hasn’t for twenty years that this thriving predecessor to fast food chains existed. The memories still exist, and there are a lot of photographs out there also. There is even a Facebook group.
Both ICEman and I have memories of what was a local favorite with people of any age. On the menu were burgers, seafood, and fries amongst other items . ICEman remembers when burgers were 19-cents. Members of the Whidbey Cruzers Car Club used to congregate here often for shows and socializing, families would come here after church, teens would cruise up and down Midway.
The bonus cache is not located at the posted coordinates but it is within 1 mile.
