This cache is in celebration of the milestones many of my geocaching friends reached in this challenging year, ranging from 100 finds to 9000 finds.
When I moved to Ashland 30 years ago, this area had an unobstructed view of Little Squam Lake and was a favorite swimming area of mine. It's amazing what time will do - now there are lots of little trees lining the shoreline, so that you really don't get much of a good view from the road anymore, except near the cache location. At the cache location, you can also get a nice view of the covered bridge nearby. Parking shouldn't be an issue, if you don't stay too long. The cache may not be winter friendly, depending on snow levels and plowing. Please replace the container exactly as found, and use stealth!
