This cache is located at one of the entrances to River Bluff Trail, kind of the "back door" to the River Bluffs Regional Park. Most local residents may think of this only as "the compost site", and that's cool, but there is lots of fun stuff to do back here as well.
A great place to Mountain Bike, Fat Bike, or snowshoe; trail access along with map can be found at a kiosk a few hundred feet beyond these gates. The mountain bike trail covers a roughly 2 mile loop. This area becomes a Fat Bike fun with the snow season. And Fat Bike riders love snowshoers; they're like human trail groomers, and visa versa.
