I have chosen to put my newest cache here to celebrate achieving my 10,000th geocache find which happened recently .!
Kopupaka Reserve was awarded Landscape Of The Year Winner at the World Architectural Festival in 2016....competing against the worlds best Landscape projects. A truly amazing achievement . It was a collaboration between many groups...and encompasses an extensive 22 hectares which has been re-contured.
The sculptural elements integrate well with the stormwater pond and will have a cultural garden....play space ...maori weaving plants and a skate park.
The 400 linear metres of curved timber crib retaining walls is very striking....
Will be interesting to see what will happen here in the future as regards community activities.

Back to the cache ....It is now a slim black tube with a pill bottle and log paper inside .
No room for toys or pen sorry .
Look behind some rocks at ground level .
Please rehide with rocks.
Take a few small steps off the path.....and then hunt low at the " end of the line " so to speak .
Covered by a few smallish rocks / please recover after signing log!
