Dongcheng Nanjie (东成南街) is in Dongchuan Erjie Community (东川二街小区) and forms part of a continuous network of pedestrian alleyways, many lined with shopfronts, connecting and serving the surrounding communities. Pedestrian and bike access via these dense alleyways means many buildings don't have direct motor vehicle access at all, and getting around on foot or two wheels is much easier and more convenient than in cars.
Some of the old buildings near this cache are heavily dilapidated, with change probably on the way.
