In the Spring when the Walleyes are active I visit this area as a launching point to go out into the lake for an evening of fishing.
The cache itself has been placed not too deep inside a wooded area thats located in a small park off of Hwy 45 which is managed by Fond du Lac County and resides on the Shore of Lake Winnebago. The container is pretty good sized and hanging so it should be easy to spot. Its been placed in such a way that looking in from the outside of the woods keeps it concealed from people just randomly walking around.
This location should be easily accessible during the winter and expect the mosquitos to be aggressive in the Summer so be sure to wear repellant when checking out the area. Also be sure to check yourself for woodticks because you just never know where those little buggers are lurking in tall grass and wooded areas.
There are some trinkets inside so feel free to add or take from the container if you wish.
From my experience I've noticed that this park doesn't see much foot or vehicle traffic so don't be surprised if no one is around during your visit.
