Parking for a least 8 cars can be found at the suggested layby along Kingsclere Road (B3051) along with a litter bin – see waypoint on Luna and Jett Adventures – 1. However further parking can be found at Watch Lane.
The Luna and Jett Adventures (large, loveable, Labradors) take you along a Byway – locally known as the Harroway for some fun finds. During the winter months the Byway can get muddy, so strong walking boots or wellingtons may be necessary. 🥾You may also encounter many dog walkers, horses, cyclists and at certain times of the year motorbikes and 4x4 vehicles.
A group of 12 caches and 1 BONUS cache is up for grabs if you collect all that is necessary to work out the coordinates!
Plus, a MULTI-CACHE for the return journey to the layby making this an approximate 5.8 mile circuit in total.
This stretch of countryside host a mixture of cache containers – some suitable for the usual drops, swaps and trackable items. Some caches are too small for a pen/pencil so please bring your own. Plus, the usual tweezers may come in handy!
Luna and Jett suggest walking along the tracks within the trees (following the cache numbers) as they will tell a story! Please let your GPS settle, as due to tree cover the coordinates could be up to 10mtrs out....you may also want to grab '(7) five go off to camp' and '(8) five get into trouble' multicaches too.
Then when you are at cache 12; continue along the track to grab the first stage of the multi-cache, then you can start your return walk back along the main Byway towards to the Kingsclere Road layby. Oh, and don’t forget to grab that BONUS cache too!! Bonus coordinates are magical and worth a look if you have littles ones.....🌟🍄
We hope you find this an entertaining circuit, especially if you have children. Goodluck, Keep Safe and Happy Caching. [😊] [😊]
