DATE: THURSDAY 31ST DECEMBER 2020
VENUE: PETER DEPENA PARK, DOLLS POINT, NSW
TIME: 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM
So long and farewell 2020!
What an unforgettable year you have been - bushfires, floods and COVID-19! But one we would really like to forget.
This year started with the anticipation of good times - travel, Community Celebrations, milestones, achievements, events.
Many of us had plans to do so many wonderful things this year. Unfortunately many of these were cancelled or postponed.
And then a period of lockdown saw no new caches published for awhile, non-essential travel put a hold on finds, streaks and goals, and of course there were NO EVENTS allowed until recently!
So now let's get out there again and celebrate the return of events and the end of a disastrous 2020 with this BYE 2020 event in Southern Sydney.
Peter Depena Park has ample facilities for the young and old. It is a lovely location by the Georges River and Botany Bay.
There are a few local caches nearby if you haven't been there before. There might even be some new ones published around this event!
Afterwards you could join the group for a coffee or lunch at one of the nearby cafes.
And of course you will be able to collect the last 2020 souvenir.

Please note: I know we are all keen to get back out to events and have not had the opportunity to catch up with each other after such a long time. But we still need to be vigilant. There will be COVID-19 measures taken to put everyone at ease. Hand sanitisier and wipes will be provided. Masks will be available, but bring your own if you wish to wear one. No food or drinks should be shared. So please bring your own snacks. And try to maintain social distancing as much as possible so we all remain safe.
