A simple multi to bring you to this iron age hill fort. See Pegasus Archive for more details.
Parking available at the waypoint.
Information to gather at gates at the southern end of the fort (C,D,E,F) and a finger post at the crossroads with the Ridgeway (A,B).
Cache is at N51 A.B W001 C.DEF
A = (total number of legs, heads and wheels to be inferred from one side of the north-pointing fingers of the crossroads post) + (number of letters in the cog on same post) - (forks on same post)
B = use the 3rd, 4th, and 5th digits of the SU reference as a 3-digit number and add the last digit (eg if SU123456, B = 345+6 = 351)
C = number of letters on the top row of the 2-row green notice on a gate east of the track, plus the number of letters in the county you are in (1word)
D = on a blue disc with a white arrow and words west of the track, letters in 1st word minus letters in 3rd word
E = on the four-row dark grey notice, last digit of the year the farm was established
F = number of Ns on the blue disc with the white arrow
Cache is then a short walk away. When I placed it, it was foggy and very slightly muddy; see pics on the link above for what it must look like in better weather!
