According to the Kansas Geological Survey, a 3.3 magnitude earthquake was centered very near here, at 10:54:02 am, local time, this morning, Tuesday, Dec 8, 2020.
According to the United States Geological Survey, it was a 3.0, ± 0.1, magnitude earthquake, but located at N37 43.080 W97 14.520, ± 1.6 km, about .67 mile west, at the south end of Bradley Fair Pond, and about 5 km, ± 2.0 km, deep.
According to the KGS website, this is the first earthquake that measured greater than 3.0 magnitude, in the Wichita area in 2020.
There were three 2.4-2.7 magnitude earthquakes located about 1.5 southeast of here in November.
