On December 4, 2020, Yolo County’s Grasslands Regional Park opened to the public. The 323 acre park features approximately 1.25 miles of walking trails and a 10 acre off-leash dog park. During parts of the year, sheep are used to manage the grasslands and there is a sign on the gate to the non-paved portions of the trail with the warning:
PLEASE CLOSE GATE DO NOT LET SHEEP OUT
The cache is a camouflage taped bison tube in a tiny oak tree adjacent to a bench and information sign.
