The Story
It's not every day that you carefully select a new cache hiding spot and plan the container to match and go away to execute that plan, only to get back there with the completed container and discover that your hiding spot is no longer there. That's exactly what happened here. So I simply had to find another spot for it...
The Cache
This cache can be found whilst travelling in the direction of Oudtshoorn, ie. away from Cape Town. It could also be found by parking across the road and safely crossing the road after checking for oncoming traffic. Mobile reception can also be sketchy here at times, so maybe save the cache offline before you reach it.
Route 62, the scenic alternative
Many consider Route 62 as the scenic alternative to the much busier N2 along the coast. Route 62 stretches for more than 500 kilometre from Ashton in the Western Cape to 18 kilometre short of Humansdorp in the Eastern Cape.
