Kudos to all those out there who have created some very clever mystery caches lately. Every once in awhile, there is a gem of a puzzle that is Google free and has a few tidbits of information subtly hidden in the description, photographs, source code, trackables info etc… that leads you down a path to victory. Yet, there are also some more vague puzzles that provide little to no insight to a solution and rely on you trying a myriad of ideas before you finally stumble across an answer. Both can be satisfying when solved, but I do prefer a seemingly impossible puzzle where the hidden information gradually leads you to success. One puzzle I recently tried to solve was of the latter style, and after days of guessing at various solutions I was ready to throw in the towel. A particular solution that I tried on that one, although unsuccessful, gave me an idea for a puzzle cache of my own. Remembering that idea and my desire for a puzzle that tries to guide you to a solution, I proceeded to put together the image you see below. Don’t worry, there are a few subtle hints to get you started…
