After 4 years in the Quad Cities, I've had so many wonderful memories of geocaching during my free time here. I'm so impressed how active and large a community of geocachers there is! Add in the Adventure Labs and I've found about 1800 caches in this area. Seven of my top 20 finds by owner are now QC cachers: (1) DTCBEARSnMATHMATE, (6) hempmage, (11) Waterfallfrog, (12) GeocacherJoshua, (13) cneumann98, (14) CrimeFighter89, and (20) Burnt Turtles. I've enjoyed the Noteworthy series, the FTF Trail, the scenic river caches, and most of all getting to know the local caching community.
To mark 4 years of finding caches, I've hidden a size 4 cache full of swag out in the woods. Watch your step, there's a tiny brook to hop over. I don't know if this area floods, so try to replace off the ground as it is currently situated.
