Maddaugh Springs is one of the starting points for Bronte Creek. Water here is fed down stream with other sources to fill Bronte Creek.
The gathering of SMALL quantities of water from the spring is allowed as per the sign at GZ. However, water is NOT tested and should be treated before tasting. Practice Leave NO Trace in this area, please.
I've passed by here many times while driving back from Guelph. I was intrigued by the spot. There is room for one car to park. Pretty area I thought. Cache is wheelchair accessible. Spring is not. Should be an easy find while on a nice backroads drive.
