Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Pennsylvania Explorers Trail (PET) to celebrate our past and future geocaching explorations. This series is placed along the eastern portion of the Chester Valley Trail starting in King of Prussia.  The Chester Valley trail is 14.7 miles in length, and the trail is ADA accessible, although many of the caches would be difficult to access from a wheelchair.  Chester County is working to extend the trail an additional 5 miles to the west into Downingtown, and Montomery County is planning to extend the trail eastward into Norristown to provide a connection to the Schuylkill River Trail.  The trail is open from 8 AM to sunset and may be closed due to icy/snowy conditions.  During substantial snowstorms the trail may be open to cross-country skiers, but snowmobiles and all other motorized vehicles (except motorized wheelchairs) are prohibited.

This trail is intended to appeal to those who love Challenge caches; but also offers Traditional geocaches placed between each pair of Challenge caches. You can ride your bike, scooter (non-motorized), skate, jog, or walk along the Chester Valley Trail. You can also bring you geodog on a leash, however be aware that there may be the steady bike traffic along the trail.  Please follow all Chester Valley Trail guidelines.

Cache is placed with permission of the Montgomery County Parks Department.

Congratulations to SmilinBob for the FTF on this cache!
