I have cached in this area many times and saw this trail on previous visits. Today I decided to walk down it to see what it was like. This is a very nice trail with great views of the Chattahoochee River and a couple of benches along the way to take a break if you want to. A little further down the trail sometimes floods with high water. That portion of the trail may be closed during those times.
So, I decided to hide some caches on the Alabama side of the river. But to make it a little more interesting, I decided to have you visit the very nice 14th Street Pedestrian bridge first. I have another traditional cache on the bridge, if you're so inclined. There is also a very nice Adventure Lab on the bridge that will have you visiting some of the same signs. These signs give you some history of the local area.
To get the final coordinates please visit the Envirnmental Green sign (it's green) on the bridge at the Reference Wayoint. The final coordinates for the cache are N32 28.ABC W084 59.DEF
