Martello Tower 63 was close by at N 50 47.996 E 000 20.317 it was allegedly blown up by the Germans in World War II, Martello towers where targets both geographically and because they were being used for military purposes, but evidence exists that it was actually blown up but by the Royal Engineers. There is no visible evidence to show it was there.
Having done the circuit many times and we have doubts about the longevity of the series due to being in high muggle areas so discretion and stealth must be exercised at all times.
Carry on along the beach heading back towards the Sovereign harbour, there will be some private roads where parking is not allowed.
