This is one my favorite places places in the forest. Most beautiful in sunshine after sufficient rain feed the seasonal streams around the grazing ponies.
Did you know: Eyeworth pond is the result of damming Latchmore Brook, with the purpose of supplying water to a gunpowder factory. The factory closed in 1921, but the pond is still here.
