This cache is in honor of our Daughter and Son-in-law. They are our geocaching, camping, and traveling partners to National and State Parks. This is the third cache in our Hideaway series.
This park is a favorite in Albert Lea. The first weekend in October it comes alive with the Big Island Rendevous (during that time there would be a fee to access the area the cache is hidden). Enjoy the beauty of this area as you hike through the park, or play the excellent Frisbee Golf course.
The official park hours are 8am-10:30pm each day of the week. The park is accessable on foot anytime, but the parking area closer to the cache is not available during the winter, or outside of the official hours.
It is important for this cache that you place the container back exactly as you found it. ENJOY!
