Geocache Description:

Netherton is situated on the ridge between the broad valley of the Hall Dike which flows into Mag Brook and the narrow deep wooded valley of Dean Clough which widens to become Big Valley before meeting the Holme Valley. A former railway tunnel which was part of the 3.5 mile railway branch line from Meltham to Lockwood passes under the road in the centre of Netherton. The railway opened in 1869 but closed to passengers in 1949.Freight traffic, mainly tractors from the Meltham Mills David Brown factory, kept the line open until 1965. Armitage Bridge is a small village between Netherton and Huddersfield town centre, Since the end of the 18th century, life there has centered on its dominant Brooke's Mill and many of its houses were built as cottages for the mill workers.

This is a bonus cache after completing the Netherton and Armitage Bridge Adventure Lab Caches. The answers will be given as you complete the adventure labs.
