Segurament todos conocemos la palabra caleidoscopio: una composición de varios términos en Griego Antiguo: καλός (kalos), "bello, bonito", εἶδος (eidos), "imagen, forma" y σκοπέω (skopeō), "mirar, examinar". Todo junto vendría a significar "observar imagenes o figuras bellas".
Probablemente no todos conoceréis el término caleidociclo: que viene a significar "formas bellas que giran" utilizando para ello junto a kalos y eidos el sufijo κύκλος (kyklos), "ciclo, anillo". Hay varios tipos y representaciones, en la siguiente imagen obtenida de Wikimedia Commons podréis ver uno formado por disfenoides rómbicos hechos con triángulos escalenos. Este preámbulo me permite bautizar la quinta torre del complejo CTBA (Cuatro Torres Business Area, el nombre se quedó desfasado), cuyos propietarios llaman Caleido como Caleido Pyrgos. Efectivamente, πύργος (pyrgos) significa "torre o fortaleza"
Me estoy refiriendo a esa nueva torre negra, más pequeña que las otras cuatro, que puedes ver si te giras. Desde el caché parece enorme, pero tiene truco porque en realidad es un edificio relativamente estrecho (según se mire).

Probably not all of you know what a kaleidocycle is. It means "beautiful shapes that turn" using not only kalos and eidos but also the suffix κύκλος (kyklos), "cycle, ring". There are several types and representations, in the following image you can see one example obtained from Wikimedia Commons: a kaleidocycle using rhombic disphenoids made with scalene triangles as its faces. This preamble allows me to name the fifth tower in the CTBA complex (Cuatro Torres Business Area, the name is almost obsolete as cuatro torres means four towers), as Caleido Pyrgos, although its owners call it just Caleido. Exactly, πύργος (pyrgos) means "tower or fortress"
I'm referring to that new black tower, smaller than the other four, that you can see if you look right. From the cache location it looks huge, and it is, but it's tricky because actually it's relatively narrow (depending on how you look at it).
