This hike will take you along the Catawba River to the furthest point South of the park. When you reach the end of the trail, you'll find two benches. Sit and enjoy the view for a few before you make the hunt. While placing this cache, we saw a beautiful heron take flight.
You're hunting a large metal camo cannister zip-tied to a tree limb. It will require a little bushwhacking depending on the season, but shouldn't by tricky.

Caches have been placed with permission from the friendly and hardworking park managerr - Ron Russell. Please be respectful of park rules. All trails are 6 foot wide, with minimal inclines and can be accessed by foot or by bike. Keep dogs on leash when near others and pick up after them. Drive only on gravel roads. Obey all speed limits. You may park on grass, but do NOT attempt to drive on the trails. Bathrooms are open during all park hours. Unless you are camping, you cannot be in the park after hours. Free admission.
