Geocache Description:

The scout law has 12 points, and so this will be a series of 12 geocaches set around San Francisco. Each point of the scout law is a goal for every scout. A scout tries to live up to the law every day. It is not always easy to do, but a scout always tries. Were you in the scouts as a youth, parent or volunteer? If so, when you log into one or more of these geocache finds, it would be neat to mention where your unit was located, its number, and your patrol name. Happy Geocaching! There’s even a geocaching merit badge now. As for myself, I became a scout in San Francisco Troop 159 at age 12, was in the Flaming Arrows patrol and became a star scout. In time I became scoutmaster. All three of my sons became eagle scouts in T159.

A scout is a friend to all. He is a brother to other scouts. He offers his friendship to people of all races and nations, and respects them even if their beliefs and customs are different from his own.

What makes this location special: Glen Canyon Park. Starting point for Islais Creek.
