⚠️El cache no esta en la escultura y la escultura fue removida...  ⚠️
Utuado es uno de esos pueblo que cuando tengo la oportunidad de visitarlo siempre lo disfruto. Además de su Centro Ceremonial y la panadería Golden Donuts (¡las donas abizcochadas!) uno de mis sitios favoritos es su plaza. La Plaza Padre Joseph Schreck (llamada así desde el 2012 en nombre de un sacerdote muy conocido en Utuado) alberga una de las esculturas más bellas conmemorando a uno de nuestros antepasados tainos.
La escultura por el artista Juan Núñez Cruz es en homenaje a Don Alonso de Otoao, bautizado cristianamente Don Alonso Manso, primer obispo de Puerto Rico.

Utuado is one of those towns that when I have the opportunity to visit I enjoy it. In addition to its Ceremonial Center and the Golden Donuts bakery (their sourdough donuts!) One of my favorite places is its town square. Padre Joseph Schreck plaza (named after a well-known priest in Utuado since 2012) houses one of the most beautiful sculptures commemorating one of our Taino ancestors.
The sculpture by the artist Juan Núñez Cruz is in homage to Don Alonso de Otoao, Christianly baptized Don Alonso Manso, the first bishop of Puerto Rico.
