Audubon Traditional Cache
NJ Admin: I'm sorry, but the Director of the Greenwich Audubon has asked that this cache be removed because it was placed without permission and is not a permitted use of their lands. Please remove the physical cache as soon as possible and contact me as noted below when you have done so. If you are unable to remove the cache, please let me know that as well and I will try to arrange for a previous finder to remove it.
Thanks,

In a very nice nature center. The cache is just off one of the trails.
The Audubon Society charges a small fee to enter the park, but the signs next to the trails provide you with extensive information about animals, trees, bird nests, plants, etc. Many of the local schools organize nature trips to the center, so if you visit the park during a normal school day, you may run into some kids. The cache is hidden just off the Lake Trail, where a stone wall crosses the path. Follow the stone wall uphill for about 30 feet.
This is our first cache. The kids had great fun putting the small lunchbox together. We put in coins from 6 different European countries, some Pokemon cards, a fancy key ring, two puzzles and some candy. Do not bring large items.
May 16, 2004: We replaced the container, the log book and added some new treasures: a whole stack of Pokemon cards and a large number of European coins.
