Village Hall, Dunham-on-Trent

 

This cache is part of a series of caches which are placed at or near village halls and community centres.

The village hall stands on the site of the original WI Hall which was built in 1934. The WI Hall was found to contain a large amount of asbestos and was condemned in the 1990s. A large amount of fundraising was undertaken and grants were secured to build what you now see today. It was completed in 1998 and is known as the Millennium Hall.
