A nice, if slightly odd, spot to find a picnic table... but certainly a nice view over the valley from here. So who not take a break from your slog, either up the hill from the Mangatawhiri Dam, or from even further afield.
The cache here is a large screwtop container located within easy reach from the path. It is very accessible, so please make sure it is well covered by branches and natural camouflage when you re-hide it, so that it may last a while! The cache contains a logbook and pencil, so please dont take the pencil!
