Wicken
Wicken is a small rural village in the most southerly part of Northamptonshire. In 2007 the TV series Time Team visited Wicken and performed several archealogic digs and dug into the history of how Wicken was originally 2 separate villages called Wick Hamon and Wick Dive. There are lots of places to walk, footpaths and bridleways, nice in the summer but accessible in the winter too.
