A cache at this bridge by robertburns was one of the first that I found when I moved to Stirling - this is a redux.
One of the strange things about Stirling is that you can miss how old everything is. With so much new housing and the odd business park at this part of town, it's easy to forget how long people have been crossing this river.
This bridge, from around 1773, pre-dates America - and spending time watching the water flow under it makes me think about the onward march of time (if you can hear your thoughts over the traffic).
Please don't park by the houses, or at the bus stop. There's ample parking nearby with a small stretch of the legs. You're near a road, so please be careful - probably not suitable for dogs or kids.
BYOP.
Placed on the shortest day of 2020 - things only get brighter from here on.
