"The Peaceful Valley Donkey Rescue’s main rescue and rehabilitation facility is located on a 172 acre former dairy in San Angelo, TX. Originally PVDR began in the northern corner of Los Angeles County and later moved to a larger facility in Tehachapi, CA. PVDR began operations in Texas in 2008 and removed the remaining California donkeys in 2012.
The San Angelo facility is home to around 1,000 donkeys at any given time. Donkeys are constantly being shipped to our many Satellite Adoption Centers as well as to our many Sanctuaries."
