Whangarei's Second Wherigo Reverse Geocache
Sadly, Whangarei's First Wherigo Reverse Geocache had to be archived since the "GZ tree" had been heavily pruned and the cache container muggled several times. If you completed my first reverse geocache, then you have a slight advanage in that you know where this one is not hidden.
Total distance needed to get to GZ will vary; however, if you start in the suggested area then you will very likely walk less than 1 km to find GZ..
For this Wherigo Geocache you will use a Reverse Geocache Box (as part of the Wherigo Cartridge) to find ground zero. The Box will give you how far away you are from GZ in metres but no other information until you are close.
This Wherigo Geocache can be started from anywhere in the world; however it is strongly recommened that you are in the vicinity of the Whangarei's Victoria Canopy Bridge near the Town Basin.
This Wherigo Reverse Geocache is designed to be completed as a leisurely walk. Although you may need to cross a street, a road and/or a bridge, you will be able to stick to footpaths, sideways and/or trails to get to GZ. The Wheigo Cartrigde is set to automatically give proximity information when you are within 8 metres of the geocache.
