Geocache Description:

This started out as a project to demonstrate the skills of the local stonecutters. A 1/5th scale 8 story model of the Pyramid of Cheops and a 650 foot segment of the Great Wall of China. Federal funds dried up and the project was abandoned. The remains of the base of the pyramid can still be found along with abandoned equipment in the weeds. The huge limestone blocks are still pretty impressive.
The cache is hidden in a rubbermaid canister and has lots of items to trade. The hike is pretty easy as the road is paved back to the cache area. The roadway is blocked, but you can walk around the left side.
