Shirleys Bay is a nice place to visit any time of the year. Its a great place to launch your water craft in the summer, access the frozen river for ice fishing in the winter, or star gazing year round.
This cache is placed about 70 meters from the parking lot and can be accessed by walking mostly on a trail along the waters edge. The immediate area can be quite wet for 3 seasons of the year so wintertime is probably the best time of year to access the cache.
With careful foot placement at the gz the cache can be accessed without aid of a ladder
