In 1995, my wife and I attended a weekend Christian Retreat called, the "Walk to Emmaus," located at Johnston Woods. This was a life-changing event for us both. In 2011, we were both blessed to be able to lead a weekend retreat there. A few years ago, a biking and hiking trail system was developed on the 380 acre retreat center, open to the community.
We have hidden a cache along the 3 mile upper loop trail, in honor of Men's Walk 132 that I was privileged to lead. The trails are only open during daylight hours. This trail is used a lot by hikers and especially mountain bikers, so be on the watch for them.
You are looking for an ammo box, with a rite in the rain logbook and pen supplied, along with an assortment of swag to trade. Please follow the blue diamond trail markers. At the fork, the marked trail to the right will be the shortest route to the cache The cache is hidden just a few feet off the trail, so no need to bushwack. Please place the cache back like you found it. Also please note any maintenance issues, and they will be taken care of promptly.
