Depending on traffic and time of day you may pass through either tunnel. The answers are the same for either one. You WILL want to watch out for EXIT signs that aren't working though.
1) How many emergency exit stairs are there in the tunnel?
2) How many pairs of overhead fans keep the air fresh for Mr. Boone or anyone else traveling through?
While in the area, be sure to check out the State Park 'above' you. The historical significance and beautiful scenery make the stop well worth your while.
