Spirit Quest - Monroe Memorial Park Cemetery
The cache is located on the very edge of the cemetery and is well away from any graves. It should be a very easy find and the hint is a give away. As with any cemetery cache please be respectful of the grounds and any possible visitors or mourners that might not understand what we are doing. Limit your search to daylight hours only please. Even though, in this case the cache can be reached from the street, please do not seek this cache during hours of darkness, this is with respect to the cemetery.
Monroe Memorial Park 2018
The Monroe Memorial park, was established in 1898. On the other side of Old Owens road is the IOOF cemetery, which is smaller and newer than this cemetery. As is all to often the case there is little written history available, but both cemeteries are run as a partnership today. Please feel free to take you time to look around the cemetery and enjoy the history that surrounds you.
