Geocache Description:

The old Green Lane is an ancient byway linking the villages of Aisby and Dembleby. It is a broad, green track edged with hedgerows for most of its length. The only vehicular traffic is the occasional tractor accessing the adjacent fields. During winter and wet periods sections of the track can become muddy but in drier months it's a lovely, broad, quiet walk.

The pretty village of Aisby sits at the western end of the track. It has a village hall, a green and a children's play area. The smaller settlement of Dembleby sits at the eastern end of this lane though a track does continue onwards to become a country lane to Osbournby. A circular walk of around 5 miles can be had by following the country lanes linking Aisby and Dembleby via Aunsby.
