Meet Christi, short for Corpus Christi
After 5 long years without a pup in the house, the family was ready to welcome a pup into the family. After applying to a few rescues we got a call there was a litter of six puppies on the way to Maryland! We were given the chance to meet all 6! After meeting them, we chose our pup but Dallas wanted to recognize each of his siblings.
All the puppies had Texas names - Christi, short for Corpus Christi. Christi, the runt of the litter, was fostered with Galveston, the largest pup in the litter. Christi was always calm and sedate when we visited. She was gemprincess's first choice because of the calmness. Christi and Galveston became our loves! We still needed to see the last of the Texas 6 though.....It was a tough choice for us between Christi and Galveston!
This trail will take you through a cornfield, along the back of my neighborhood, onto the red dot trail which turns into the white trail, to the red trail and back to parking. This is Dallas's most favorite place to walk/hike. He is so excited when we visit here! Alltrails lists the Sweet Air Loop as 3.1 miles, so it became a 5K trail dedicated to Dallas and his littermates.
