Dash Point Historical School Traditional Cache

The community of Dash Point began to be established in 1906 when this area was a hot spot for Tacoma residents to picnic and camp. As more families moved to the area the demand for a school was necessary. In 1914 a small school was created near the Dash Point beach, but in 1924 a larger school was built that would eventualy serve both the children of Dash Point and Brown's Point.
