Geocache Description:

While hiking down the Orange Trail from the Long Path at the PIPC Headquarters to find some fishy caches, I came upon some ruins I've never seen before. I thought at first it was used for ice harvesting, but intel from Brian Snat led me to believe that my suspicions were wrong, even after two other reliable resources said my guess was a good one.

After researching industry along the Palisades, I came upon movie production. That would make sense in the use of a steep ramp that is definitely not safe for wheelchair use.

Peril's of Pauline was a series filmed along the cliffs here, so maybe? Enjoy your adventure here. You'll get plenty of exercise in the upper thigh area for sure whether you come from below or above.

I finally took the time to shoot an email to the local historian, Eric Nelsen, and he informed me it was a garbage incinerator and used as such until the 1960's, so there you have it.
