The Rinella Movie Park was an iconic amusement park built on the site of Fort St Rocco. It had many attractions, including a Jumanji restaurant, the Titanic Experience, a carousel, and a train that led to movie sets and props. It was abandoned after it closed in 2000, but lots of the old fixtures still remain and are slowly being taken back by nature (and graffiti artists).
From the parking waypoint, there is a construction gate, and to the left side of it there is a public footpath that leads towards the sea. As you follow the path, you will see the abandoned movie park to your right and the water tanks of the Malta Film Studios to your left. A lot of coastal scenes from big films have been shot there.
