Kalajoella välimatkapiste on teiden 8, 7780 (Kalajoentie) ja 7781 (Markkinatie/Plassintie) risteyksessä, eli joen pohjoispuolella olevassa 8-tien liikenneympyrässä. Liikenneympyrässä on koristeena dyyni, ja vastaavanlainen dyyni on myös joen eteläpuolisessa ympyrässä. Kätkö on vähän sivummalla tarkasta välimatkapisteestä, paikassa josta on näköyhteys ympyrään. Kätkössä ei ole kynää.

The caches in this series are located close to central points of towns that are used to calculate distances between towns. In Kalajoki, this point is at the junction of roads 8, 7780 (Kalajoentie) and 7781 (Markkinatie/Plassintie), or in other words at the roundabout on the road 8 north of the river. The roundabout is decorated with a dune, and there is a similar dune also in the roundabout south of the river. The cache is a short distance away from the roundabout. There is no pen in the cache.
