Workyticket: As there appears to have been no response from the CO we are archiving this cache listing to prevent it from continually showing up in search lists and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements in the area. Geocache Description:

Fairly large, tubular cache, roomy enough for travelbugs, walk along the top of the rocks, past the 'community garden' a local likes to keep in between the rocks, past the rock painted like a whale and you'll find what you're searching for.

Welcome to North Blyth! These three streets used to be much more, a thriving centre of industry with massive wooden staithes connecting the railway to the ships for the coal industry and ship breaking at Battleship Wharf. There's a scene in the film Get Carter that was shot on the Staithes.

You can head along the path to the beach or have a nice walk along the cliffs to the windmill at the end. If you see anyone leaving a dog poo, ask them nicely to pick it up or throw it at them!

Thanks for visiting!
