Geocache Description:

Cache #128

Welcome to the Albury Favourites Adventure Lab Bonus Cache!

The coordinates are false - you will not find a cache at the published coordinates, but you will need to go there to get the information you need to find the cache.

The cache has taken you to a number of our favourite spots in Albury, but I have saved my all-time favourite for last. Nailcan Hill is an amazing patch of bush on the edge of Albury - I spend a lot of time chasing birds and butterflies (and there may even be a few caches here).

At Monument Hill you should now have the required information (distance and direction) to complete the cache. Use these figures at the published coordinates and the GZ can be calculated.

The cache can be walked from here, but it might be easier to drive (two suggested parking spots are provided). The walk on the hill is a little further than I hoped, but is not too strenuous. The last section needs to cross a gully, but there is a clear track at the junction of the nearby fire trails (you may need to walk past the cache if coming downhill).

Thre cache is a small camoflagued vitamin container hidden in a standard way. Please replace the camo and be aware that walkers and cyclists may be in the vicinity. This is one of the few places I have seen a snake on the hill (near the tank) so be careful with dogs and kids.

We hope you have enjoyed the tour of Albury and some of our favourite spots around town.

FTF - Congratulations poolpool
