Welcome to Poquoson and the Messick Point Cache Series!
Messick Point is a well-kept secret in the Poquoson community. For the commercial fishermen, it provides safe harbor for their work boats and easy access to their fishing areas. You might also find pet owners walking their dog(s) and enjoying the fresh air, peace and wide-open space of this area.
This cache is hidden in the parking area of a local seafood supplier along on the road leading to Messick Point. Each day, the local commercial fishermen bring their daily catch here, where the catch is weighed and packaged for delivery to local seafood restaurants.
Business owner has approved cache and maybe watching as you search for the treasure. However, please honor daytime only cache request. Only room for a log. Please replace cache as found so others can enjoy.
Finally, plenty of parking AND plenty of muggles nearby or traveling the road to Messick Point. So stealth is extremely important!
