To celebrate the new year, the kids and I decided to place a few winter-friendly Park & Grab caches in the areas we frequent.
This solar field is part of a 9-site project called the Aurora Portfolio, completed in 2014. There are four sites on this road and the next one over. This location generates about 10 megawatts of power, fed into the Ontario grid, which can power about 1200 homes. The whole 100 megawatt portfolio provides power for about 12,300 homes.
