This is a 5-part multicache that will take you on a 2-mile loop around Adams Farm, visiting some scenic areas and points of interest. Each hidden waypoint contains the coordinates to the next. Stage 1 is a small cylindrical canister, stages 2, 3, and 4 are flat sticks, and stage 5 is a 7 x 5 x 2.5" box. Remember to look up!
Free parking is available at the main entrance to Adams Farm: 999 North Street, Walpole MA 02081. We have loved Adams Farm for 27 years and hope that this multicache will help more visitors appreciate the value of public land.
Hints for each waypoint are below.
Note: The coordinates printed on the physical waypoints are in Decimal Degrees (DD) format, which is the most compatible with Google Maps. An example DD coordinate is 38.897408, -77.036563. Make sure you are able to input coordinates in this format into your phone or gps receiver. There is good cell service in Adams farm so you can also use online coordinate-converters.
Here is a helpful article explaining the three types of geographic coordinate systems and how to convert between them: https://flyandwire.com/2020/08/10/back-to-basics-latitude-and-longitude-dms-dd-ddm/
